Things are changing fast, I thought I was going to jump
on Crete in Greece but the meeting was allready full with
top jumpers like Stacey Dragila and Feofanova. So I will
be going to the IAAF Grand Prix II in Zagreb and see for
myself how the 2 attempts test is working, I did such a
competition last year in Bratislava and didn't really like it.
But hey, in Kassel I did everything in the first attempt, so
it is still possible to jump very good. However it gets a bit
more difficult. But any way, I will be enjoying the
sunshine and sailing through the air! What else can one
wish for!

I'm in Zagreb now and I really like it here. We are in a 5
star hotel, and the food is really delicious so I'm eating to
much. I've been training at the track and it's not very big,
they have put up some temporary stands around the
track. So I hope the stands are going to be full, and the
weather good, than it can get a very cosy, warm meet.
I'm really looking forward to it, and there is actually a
little change that we do get the normal three attempts.
Because we are supposed to be with only eight girls that
shouldn't give any problem. After a year?(or maybe even
more) I've met Kellie and Mel again. So I will definitely
have a lot off fun here. You can find descriptions from
all the polevaulters on Achtung stabhochsprung or at the
Women's Pole Vault Site For Mel however you can go to
her own wacky pole vault page.

I am at home again. In Zagreb I jumped 4.20m and I'm
quite satisfied with that. This because we had only 2
attempts and I had the feeling I'm still improving a few
things. The dutch nationals are up this Saturday so I'll
drive to the Netherlands on friday. I'll finally see my
parents again, and I will get a bit spoiled. So I'm allready
looking forward to that. I was just nosing through some
pictures and this is what I found:
