So after
dessau we went to Jena, the first time I ever packed my car this full:
4 people with about one weeks luggage for each off them and four sets
off poles on the roof. Luckily my car survived the trip and we arrived
in rainy Jena. I found out I was sharing my room with Stella again,
which was a surprise because she didn't know she was coming to Jena
when I saw her in Ingolstadt. The hotel however was not as good and
I was glad we would only stay one night. So yesterday we packed our
bags and drove to the competition. It rained all through the competition,
luckily not hard but anyway, it wasn't very nice. I felt good and
started jumping very well , my runup was faster at the end and I could
take a heavier pole. however at 42o my first take off was way to close
to the box which resulted in a jump where I had my highest point before
the bar and I came down on the bar. The second runup I stopped because
off a sudden head wind, unluckily I couldn't stop in time, so I made
a foul. The third runup was perfect, I also had a good take off, but
somehow I thought I was to far and I got a bit scared which resulted
in the old jumping to the right again. anyhow, my runup is slowly
improving so I just have to be patient. Tomorrow is a new day with
new chances in Rehlingen, let's go!!
