I didn't jump very high on this meeting
in Island. I guess I was just a little bit impressed by the magnificent
scenery. And than I'm not even talking about the climate. Anyway I've got
great respect for the other girls who all got over a height. And I must
say, the trip back, 5 hours over the mainroad (a sandtrack) also made a
big impression. Here are some pics, thanks to the organizer.
This was the biggest event ever in this region. So everybody (and than I
really mean everybody) came to watch us polevaulting, and the strong men
competing in landrover pulling, rock transporting, and stone throwing. Here
you can see how small a pit is in comparison to a mountain, Maria jumping
and me looking, And Vala clearing probably 4 meters.
