How
I started, again
|
 |
| After the competition in '94 there were
some competitions coming up and I had to train the hurdles and the highjump
for those competitions. I moved to Delft to start my studies and found another
club to train in Den Haag (The Hague).I wanted to close my last junioryear
with at least one medal at the national Indoorand outdoor championships.
I trained about three to four times a week on the highjump and hurdles and
got third on the hurdles at the indoors. Outdoor I wasn't that succesful:
I tripped over a hurdle while a was in third place. So, no medal. I didn't
like that idea much and I had seen the polevault results. Even at the seniors,
the women weren't jumping any higher than 2.50m.
The senior championships were coming up in a few weeks so I started to
train the polevault again. I tried a competition and jumped 2.40m, again,
but now a year later.
